Project Heartbeat is Touching Heart’s non-residential program that is open to women and children in domestic violence crisis who may not be ready to leave their abuser and/or seek shelter but still need to understand what resources and services are available to them and how they can monitor their safety. Services include:
- Crisis Intervention
- Individual Counseling/Case Management
- Legal Advocacy
- Information and Referrals
Touching Heart understand that from time to time women and children will require emergency assistance that may be directly or indirectly related to domestic violence. On those occasions Touching Heart wishes to provide emergency food and clothing, bus tickets, gas cards, etc. Touching Heart’s capacity to provide these important resources is contingent on community giving.
